It is a solemn occasion to remember those courageous people who appreciated their country’s welfare over their own. Those who’d families. The majority of these had spouses and children. Parents who depended upon them had elderly. But despite all these obligations, they believed the independence of their nation was necessary, and they did not hesitate to put their lives down. A veteran is a woman or a person who has functioned in the United States armed services. But being a veteran means much more! A veteran is a well-trained individual that fought in the military, marines, or air pressure. It makes me feel comfortable and happy knowing that there is such brave day that has fought for our country.

In America, we’ve got the privilege of having many freedoms that individuals in different countries don’t. Veterans are the men and women who risked their lives for our liberty, so I think that they should find a good deal of respect. Individuals in the military can be stressed and tired of working, but they still maintain their heads up high and do their very best to win each battle they confronted.

We’re so blessed to have such brave days since they worked so tough to serve our country. They fought in several battles that were hard to safeguard our nation which helped us gain our rights and our liberty. Veterans are hard working individuals. Folks should have regard for what they’ve done. Maybe if people didn’t care about the day, they wouldn’t care about their job, and we would not have some liberty.

We can learn a great deal from the extraordinary sacrifice that these worthy people left for us to follow along. We study and can read many of those World War accounts that these soldiers exhibited in war. There are also video and film documentaries of these World War years from which we could learn quite a good deal about the things that occurred during those wars. As a sign of respect, we could observe a minute of silence at 11 a.m. on November 11 annually. We can join the Memorial Day services held in towns and cities all over America. We could reflect on how the kind of life that we enjoy today results in the sacrifice of women and men that lived before us.
